All six situations

Care at home

Help at home, matched to the need.

Most people want to stay home. With the right help, many can. We match families with vetted, licensed home care agencies across Orange County and stay involved so the fit actually works.

Always free to families.

In-home care

“They want to stay home.”

Levels of care

From a few hours a week to around the clock.

  • Companion & homemaker

Meals, light housekeeping, errands, rides to appointments, and someone to talk to.

  • Personal care

Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and getting around safely.

  • 24-hour & live-in care

Round-the-clock coverage in shifts, or a live-in caregiver, when someone can’t be alone.

  • Memory care at home

Caregivers experienced with dementia: steady routines, gentle redirection, and safety.

  • Respite for family caregivers

A few hours or a few days so the family caregiver can rest, work, or travel.

  • Alongside hospice

Hospice covers medical care at the end of life. Private caregivers can fill the hours in between.

How we match you

Matched, then managed.

  1. We assess the real need

Hours, tasks, health, personality, language, and budget.

  2. We match with vetted agencies

Licensed California Home Care Organizations we know and work with.

  3. We stay on the case

If the fit isn’t right, you call us, not a switchboard, and we fix it.

Who pays for home care?

Medicare usually doesn’t. Here’s what does.

Medicare generally doesn’t cover ongoing non-medical help at home, which surprises a lot of families. Most in-home care is paid privately, and there are more ways to fund it than people realize.

If private pay isn’t realistic, we’ll say so and point you to the public and nonprofit programs that fit.

All the ways to pay
  • Monthly income and savings
  • Long-term care insurance
  • VA Aid & Attendance for eligible veterans and surviving spouses
  • Home equity, including reverse mortgages
